Roger recently beat his cancer battle, receiving an all clear - cancer free diagnosis in July. Roger’s daughter, Melanie, indicated that her dad was feeling better and more like his old self. He was looking forward to moving on with his life. In mid-August Roger contracted COVID which overwhelmed his lungs and he lost his fight on September 11, 2023.
Roger was an amazing person and it was truly a pleasure to have Roger as a club member and club president. He will be deeply missed.
The Carolina Classic Pontiac Club, Inc. was founded in December, 1995 with about thirty members joining at the first meeting. Current membership is around one hundred ten with membership coming from North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Florida. Membership is open to all Pontiac owners and enthusiasts.
The purpose of our club is to unite Pontiac enthusiasts by promoting the preservation, restoration and enjoyment of Pontiac automobiles and to raise funds for charity by sponsoring events.
