Introduction
The Carolina Classic Pontiac Club, Inc. was founded in December, 1995 with about thirty members joining at the first meeting. Current membership is around one hundred ten with membership coming from North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Florida. Membership is open to all Pontiac owners and enthusiasts.
Purpose
The purpose of our club is to unite Pontiac enthusiasts by promoting the preservation, restoration and enjoyment of Pontiac automobiles and to raise funds for charity by sponsoring events. Together, by entertaining and promoting the spirit of good fellowship and fair play, enthusiasts become better acquainted through sponsored activities in a family atmosphere.
Monthly Meetings
Monthly meetings are usually held the first Saturday of the month at various locations around the Charlotte, NC area (subject to change when scheduling conflicts). Meetings have been held in Matthews, Concord, Mooresville, & Waxhaw. Locations are presented and decided by members in attendance at club meetings, usually 2-3 months in advance.
Events
Our beautiful Pontiac's are displayed at the C.M.Speedway AutoFair in both spring and fall. Warm months mean car shows and cruise-ins. In June, a favorite event is a cruise to Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge Car Show in TN. The Trans Am National's in August is another favorite road trip.
Newsletter
Tiger Tracks, our newsletter, is published monthly and contains information on upcoming events, club meetings, and classified ads where members may advertise parts and cars for sale and wanted.
How to Join
Dues are $35.00 per year for printed/ mailed newsletter (or $20.00 per year for e-mailed newsletter) and $5.00 for each associate member. Simply fill out an application form (see side bar) and mail to Club Treasurer as noted on membership form. Please Note, ALL memberships renew on January 1st and Renewal Dues are due by January 10th.
